AOI:

Automatic optical inspection is known in the industry as a piece of equipment that is used to inspect printed circuit boards during the manufacturing process. The main application of an AOI system is to detect defects on the boards. The benefits of AOI, or Automatic Optical Inspection, are many.  AOI improves the quality of the manufacturing process, increases the yield of defect free parts coming out of the assembly line thereby reducing production costs.  AOI eliminates manual inspection and reduces the number of defective products being shipped to customers.

The Benefits of Solder Paste Inspection Equipment, or SPI

SPI:
