It seems that some of the fine folk that use the internet for less than positive means caused some problems for our website’s hosting service provider. Why, I don’t really know. No customer or company data was ever at risk…but we decided it was best to move to a new hosting service.
The most obvious result of this attack was broken links to our equipment listings. If you found TEAM A.T.E. searching for equipment and clicked on one of these older links, the address was no longer valid. Your web browser doesn’t know the address has changed. It may appear to the person searching that TEAM A.T.E. no longer exists.
Search engines don’t like to provide you with invalid links, so this will also impact where we show up on search results for a period of time. Until the search engines validate new addresses for the links, we may not show up in your search results. Bookmarking our site will allow you to quickly search our site directly.
Since we are working on the website, we decided to make some improvements at the same time. Security has been reviewed to ensure we didn’t have any more potential surprises and we are also improving some of the features and functionality. We apologize for any of the “under construction” look while we are making these improvements. We think you will like some of the new features, like RSS feeds for getting a “heads-up” on particular equipment that comes available.
We want to let you know that the problems have been fixed and that we are slowly but surely returning to normal. We feel good about our new service provider as they provide us with more secure servers, and equipment listings are once again accurate on our website. What will take some time is rebuilding our high rankings with the common internet search engines.

We’re sorry for any frustration this many have caused you as you search for equipment to meet your capital requirements. Believe me; it has been very frustrating for us as well. We’ve learned that as good as our equipment listings and website may be, they can always be better. More than anything, we’re even more aware of the importance of talking with our customers.
