As 2011 draws near a close, we at TEAM A.T.E. want to take this opportunity to express our gratitude for both your business, and your friendship. Without the strong working relationships we’ve developed with our customers we wouldn’t be able to continue to serve you year after year.
2011 has certainly been an interesting year. It started off somewhat slowly but picked up steam as the financial markets recovered to a degree. With fewer customers placing orders for new equipment, the used equipment market saw increased demand among the more popular test platforms. We saw stronger demand for equipment in Q2 and Q3, while here in Q4 customers are turning more conservative and protecting capital. I am curious to see if our industry…and the economy in general…. can develop some momentum as we head into 2012.
To recap the past year: We’ve added an online parts store for our board test customers, where we have made it quick and easy for you to order spare parts. We’ve also expanded our abilities in Asia by opening a facility in Singapore. In our Hsinchu, Taiwan office, our team has a talented staff of engineers who can help custom configure and demo a variety of test platforms. In China, we’ve opened offices in both Shanghai and Shenzhen. This is helping us to better serve our customers within China, as well as assists us in sourcing equipment that is in demand from customers elsewhere.
As you develop forecasts for 2012, let your account manager know what you might be looking for. With a good idea of your configuration requirements and budget, we can help to develop some options to consider that not only meet your requirement and timing, but also can result in significant savings.
